So, I decided to jump on the bandwagon and set up a blog. Perhaps it will help us keep in touch and I know grandparents won't mind seeing pictures. Garrett is 5 1/2 and very much looking forward to the start of first grade where he gets to wear anything he wants [within reason]. He likes to read his Amelia Bedelia books, dazzle his aunt Natalie with his math skills, and he loves Lego Star Wars--a little too much. Collin is 3 1/2 and is so excited to start preschool in September. He loves to play Indiana Jones and has very much enjoyed having his brother home during the summer. He loves to color, thankfully he now restricts it to paper, and likes to sign his artwork with his name. Alexis is now a year old and thinks she rules the roost. She is such the girly girl. She loves to try on shoes, wear jewlery, have her hair done, carry her dolls, and read books. She has already learned to use kisses to get her way and to deny them to be coy. David recently began a new job, which he is enjoying very much. It's a small office, which is a new thing for him but when they give you a cell phone, a lap top, and buy you lunch on your first day, who's going to complain? A month ago, David ran the Wasatch Back Ragner Relay and is now looking forward for the oportunity to run a full marathon. Things are pretty much status quo for me. I recently got a wheat grinder, ground my own food storage wheat, and made my own bread. Such an accomplishment! Three kids keep me busy, but I always find time for my guilty pleasures. (Don't ask me how fast I can read the "Twilight" books).
Hopefully I'll be able to keep this updated so you can get a glimpse at our family life.
